AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING AN OCCUPATIONAL AND BUSINESS
LICENSE TAX ON THE INSTALLATION, REPAIR AND MAIN-
TENANCE OF TELEVISION AND RADIO RECEIVING AND PRO- Ig
VIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: +
SECTION 1. No person, firm or corporation shall install,
repair or maintain television and radio receiving antenna within
the City of Edgewater, Florida, until after a license therefor in
the amount of $15.00 per year shall have been procured from the
City Clerk of saidcIty.
SECTION 2. The license year for said license shall begin on
the 1st day of October each year and end on the 30th day of September
each year, on which latter date said license shall expire.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined
not more than $ 15.00 , or imprisoned for not more than 5
days, or both, at the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts or ordinances in
m nflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval of the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City C ouncil of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting
held on the 4th day of January, 1960.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried,the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 4th day
of January, 1960, and approved as provided by law, the vote of
said Council being as follows:
