AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A REGULAR" �
POLICE OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORID

AND SETTING FORTH THE COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFI
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:1�
SECTION 1. That Leonard A. Waltz be and he hereby is desig-:to
nated and appointed a regular police officer for the City of Edge-
water, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all
of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter
and Ordinances of said city and the Laws of the State of Florida,
to serve as such at the will of the City Council of said city; that
the said Leonard A. Waltz shall be paid the sum of Two Hundred
and No/100 ($200.00) Dollars per month, said appointment being
effective as of the 1st day of November, 1959.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting held November 16, 1959.
Upon motion duly made, secordedand carried, the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held November 16,
1959 and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
being as follows:
