AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A CITY

ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDAI
AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: ��
SECTION 1. That John E. Chisholm be and he hereby is desig- f#
nated and appointed City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Florida,
with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties
of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances
of said city and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such
at the will of the City Council of said city; that the said John E.
Chisholm shall be paid the sum of Five Hundred and No/100 ($500.00)
Dollars per year as a retainer, and an additional sum of Ten and No/100
($10.00) Dollars per meeting, the above mentioned sums being paid
for performing the regular and routine duties of City Attorney; addi-
tional compensation shall be set for all other extraordinary and
additional services, said appointment being effective as of the
1st day of November, 1959.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon

The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the regular
meeting held on November 16, 1959.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement
of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at the regular meeting of said Council held November 16,
1959, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said council
being as follows:
