240ORDINANCE NO. 240 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A VICE - MAYOR FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF SAID OFFICE AND SETTING FORTH THE OOMPENSATI0N FOR SUCH OFFICE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PDOPEE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION.1. That Bernard Farrell be and he hereby is appointed YYYY and designated Vice Mayor for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, for the unexpired term of said office until November 3, 1959 with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter of said City and the Laws of the State of Florida. That the said Bernard Farrell shall be paid no compensation for his services as Vice Mayor of said City of Edgewater, Florida, said appointment being effective as of October 5, 1959. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. Thee bove ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the regular meeting held on the 5th day of October, 1959. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on October 51'1959 and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council being as follows: ��o W � Approved this October 5, 1959 Mayor
