228ORDINANCE NO. 228 AN ORDINANCES PROPRIATIjk�sREVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA�r.,r,,` FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1958, and ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1959, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE ♦♦ CITY BUDGET. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the following amounts of moneys to be col- lected from the source of revenue of the City of Edgewater, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1958, and ending October 31, 1959, be and the same are hereby appropriated to the following purposes and in the following amounts: Present Change to General Government $15,630.00 $18,030.00 Street Department 23,391.50 32,391.50 Street Lights 3,400.00 4,400.00 Police Department 7,125.00 10,725.00 Fire Department 4,150.00 4,150.00 Emergency and Contingency 3,000.00 4,000.00 Library 600.00 1,600.00 Total $57,296.50 $75,296.50 SECTION 2. That t he City Clerk of the said City of Edgewater, Florida, be and she hereby is directed, as and iihen the above described and designated revenues are received and collected by her, to apportion such revenues to the respective purposes set forth in Section I hereof. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance take effect immediately upon Its passage and approval of the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the Ck y Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held August 3, 1959. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
