210ORDINANCE NO. 210 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 67 ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING CERTAIN OCCUPATIONAL AND BUSINESS LICENSE TAXES AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT AND COLLEC- TION THEREOF, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF. WHEREAS, The City of Edgewater, Florida, did, on the 12th day of July, 1954, adopt Ordinance No. 67 as aforesaid; and, WHEREAS, it now is necessary and expedient to make certain amendments and additions to said ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 67 0£ the City of Edgewater, Florida be amended to read as follows: -C- CARPENTERS - For hire other than general contractors $5.00 �•'' CONTRACTORS: Persons, firms or corporations holding themselves out as regular contractors as a business shall pay licenses as follows: Paper -hanging, house and sign painting, including inside painting 25.00 Piastering or masonry 25.00 Plumbers and Sewerage 25.00 Electrical 25.00 Building and construction 50,00 House moving, paying no otber license 25.00 -H- HEAVY HAULING - Of sand, earth, building materials of any kind and heavy construction equipment 50.00 -M- MASONS - (For hire other than masons doing contracts) 5.00 SECTION 2. All other parts of Ordinance No. 67 and amendments not in conflict with this ordinance are hereby adopted and confirmed. )o SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con— flict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed. SECTION li. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of September, 1958. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
