168ORDINANCE NO. 168
AN ORDINANCE SETTING MAXIMUM WEIGHT LIMITS
ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER:
Section 1: That on the following streets in the City of Edgewater,
to -wit; 4
Hamilton Hart Ave,, I4®
Bigelow Drive Snyder St,
Rio Vista Dr. Connecticut Ave.
Oakridge Ave. Woodley Ave.
Highland Ave,, Hotel Ave.
Wildwood Ave. Orange Ave.
West Pine Bluff St. Marion Ave.
Rhode Island Ave.
Hardin Place
no vehicle shall be permitted having a load weight of more than two tons.
Section 2: The Chief of police of the City of Edgewater shall have the
right on any street, in addition to the above streets, to set a load -
weight limit for any vehicle on said street, if he finds that from the
use of said street by heavy vehicles the street is being damaged.
Section 3: Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance shall
be fined for each offense a fine of not more than $100.00, or imprisoned
not more than 30 days, or both, in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its pas-
sage and approval by the Mayor.
Section $: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held
on the loth day of August, A. D. 1957•
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading

said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance was
ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 19th day of August,
A. D. 1957, and approved'as provided by law, the vote of said Council
on roll call being as follows:
