157ORDINANCE NO. 157
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING REQULiEMENTS FOR SEPTIC
TANKS IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1: All septic tanks hereafter constructed in the City of Edgei»
water, Florida, shall be constructed of prefabricated reinforced concrete
and comply with any requirements of the Southern Building Code, or any
requirements promulgated by the Building Inspector of the City of Edge-
water, Florida, which he advises to he necessary for the health, safety,
and sanitation of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be enforced by the Building Inspector
of the City of Edgewater, Florida., and no permits shall be issued for
the construction or installation of septic tanks except as may be ap-
proved by him under and by virtue of this Ordinance.
Section 3: Any regulations which the Building Inspector may promulgate
shall be filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
Section 4: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
,Section 5: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its pas-
sage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held on
the 13th day of May, A. D. 1957.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement of reading
said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance was
ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 13th day of May, A. D.
