156ORDINANCE NO. 156 AN ORDINANCE MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FROM THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1957, FOR THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET. WHEREAS WHEREAS the City of Edgewater, Florida, will have an unapprC4 _ fL, surplus for the fiscal year ending October 31, 1957, and /`• WHEREAS the City of Edgewater, Florida, desires to change the budget, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1: Ordinance No. 124 of the City of Edgewater, Florida, entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE- GINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1956, AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1957, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET" be and the same is hereby amended, and addi- tional moneys are appropriated and the appropriations are changed to read as follows: General Government- - - - - - - - - - - - --$10,500.00 Street Lights- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Z,200.00 Street Department- - - - - - - - - - - - - - 18,000.00 Police Department- - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5,100.00 Fire Department - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- 800.00 Emergencies and Contingencies- - - - - - - - 3,000.00 Library - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- 400.00 T O T A L $40,000.00 Section 2: That the City Clerk of the said City of Edgewater, Florida, be and she is hereby directed as and when the above described and designated revenues are received and collected by her, to apportion such revenues to the respective purposes set forth in Section 1 hereof. Section 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict here- with be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage - 1 - and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, A. D. 1957. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the reeuirement of read— ing said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of May, A.
