155BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF' THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, ORDINANCE NO. '-- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 135 OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON SUNDAYS IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." 'p; FLORIDA: y"��fl Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 135 of the City of Edgewater, Florida, be and the same Is hereby amended to read as follows: "No person shall sell, give away, dispose of, exchange or barter any malt, spirituous or vinous liquors, including beer, ale, and wine, at any time on Sunday within the corporate limits of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and it shall be unlawful for any person to display a lighted sign advertising any malt, spiritu- ous or vinous liquors, including beer, ale, or wine, on Sundays." Section 2: This amendment shall take effect immediately upon its passage. Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this amendment be and the same are hereby repealed. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the 29th day of April, A. D. 1957. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 29th day of April, A.
