AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 119 IN REGARD TO FEES FOR THE COLLECTION
OF GARBAGE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, ti J# ,ED

Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 119 be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
That the City of Edgewater shall maintain and operate
a service for the collection and disposal of trash,
including garbage, and all persons, firms, and corpora-
tions whose premises are thereby served shall pay to
the City of Edgewater for the use of such service the
sum of $5.00 for such service for a year commencing
on March 1 of each year and ending on February 28 of
the following year, and $3.00 for a fraction of a year
of six months or less, commencing September 1 of each
year until February 28 of the following year.
Section 2: The passage of the foregoing amendment shall not invali-
date any $3.00 fees for garbage now in existence for the period of
time ending August 31, 1957, but no such payments shall be accepted
hereafter.
Section 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby renee.led.
,Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on
the 8th day of April, A. D. 1957.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the require-
ment of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and
the Ordinance was put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 8th day of April, A. D.
1957, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council on roll
