AN ORDINANCE SETTING A MAXIMUM SPEED
LIMIT ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE IN THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLO4 PTED
SECTION 1: On Riverside Drive in the City of Edgewater (SPRO

speed 1Luit shall be twenty-five (25) miles per hour.
SECTION 2: Anyone convicted of exceeding the maximum speed limit on
Riverside Drive shall pay a fine of not lees than $5.00 and not more
than $100.00, or serve a sentence of not less than five (5) days and
not more than thirty (30) days imprisonment, or both, in the discretion
of the Municipal Judge.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
SECTION 4: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be, and the same are hereby repealed.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of $dgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the
loth day of September, A. D. 1956.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ord-
inance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the loth day of September,
A. D. 1956, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
on roll call being as follows:
