107ORDINANCE NO. 107
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL MOTOR VEHICLES
OPERATED IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
TO HAVE VALID TAGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
LAWS OF FLORIDA. q
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FATPT ®
Section 1: Any motor vehicle operated in the City of Edgewater, Florida,
shall have a legal tag complying with the provisions of Chapter 320,
Florida Statutes, and it shall be unlawful for any person to operate a
motor vehicle in the City of Edgewater, Florida, without a tag comply-
ing with said Chapter.
Section 2: All of the definitions of Chapter 320, Florida Statutes,
are adopted in construing this Ordinance.
Section 3: Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance $hall
upon conviction be fined not more than $50.00 or imprisoned for not
more than 30 days.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
Section 5: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the
9th day of April, A.D. 1956•
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ord-
inance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 9th day of April, A.D.
1956, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council on roll
call being as follows:
