106ORDINANCE NO. 106
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DRIVING WHILE
INTOXICATED IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLBR,Iir:
Section 1: It is unlawful for any person, while in an intoxiated condi-
tion or under the influence of intoxicating liquor to such extent as
to deprive him of full possession of his normal faculties, to drive or
operate over the highways or streets or thoroughfares of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, any automobile, truck, or vehicle or motorcycle or
any other vehicle propelled by gasoline, gas, vapor, electricity, steam
or other power.
Section 2: Any person convicted of a violation of this Ordinance Mall
be fined not less than $25. 00 nor more than $?50. 00 or subject to impris-
onment for not more than 90 days.
Section 9: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances In conflict herewith
be, and the same are, hereby repealed, and this Ordinance shall take effect

Tha above Ordinance was read in full and -passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the
9th day of April, A.D. 1956.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordi-
nance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 9th day of April, A.D.
1956, and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
on roll call being as follows:
