AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A LIBRARIAN FOR THE
CITY OF EDGEVYATER, FLORIDA, AND SETTING M
COMPENSATION FOR SUCH SERVICES. A 'e�y�pnTED
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGENATER� FT,ORIDA:
Section li That Vera McLane be, and she is hereby designated
and appointed as librarian for the City of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform
all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter
and Ordinances of said City, to serve as such at the will of the
City Council of said City; that said Vera McLane shall be paid the
sum of Twenty Dollars($20.00) per month for her services, said app-
ointment being effective as of November 1, 1955.
Section 2: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed*
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting
on the 14th day of November, A. D. 1955.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried,the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived,
and the Ordinance was put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the loth day
of November, A. D. 1955, and approved as provided by law, the vote of
said Council on roll call being as follows:
