90ORDINANCE NO. 90 AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A CITY ATTORNEY FOR TIM CITY OF EDGE-NATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, SUCHFLORIDA,SERVICES. AND SETTING THE COTf.PENSATION F'0 R%^R SUCH SERVICES. ft„ TED BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Fred R. Brannon, Jr., be, and he is hereby designated and appointed City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of said City; that said Fred R. Brannon, Jr., shall be paid the sum of Three —Hundred —Fifty ($350.00) dollars per year as a retainer and an additional sum of Ten($10.00)dollars per meeting, plus all necessary out of pocket costs, such as Court Costs, filing and recording fees, and any other necessary costs incident to his duties. He shall receive no extra compensation for any of his duties, and it is hereby declared to be his duty to bring or defend suits at the direction of the City Council, and check such titles as said City Council may direct.His appointment is effective as of this date. Section 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed. Section 3, This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the 14th day of November, A. D. 1955. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the —1- .*90 requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance was put upon final passage. Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the loth day of November, A.
