89Cc o _ ORDINANCE NO.-89. AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE CITY OF EDGEI4ATER, f@N� FLORIDA SUCH AND SETTING THE COMPENSATION ii®®��L ;;P�99 FOR SUCH SERVICES. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1: That Francis H. Norman be, and he is, hereby designated and appointed Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and per- form all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Couno ll of said City; the.t the said Francis H. Norman shall be paid the sum of Three Hundred Twenty Five and 00/100 Dollars ($325.00) per month for his serteices, said appointment being effective as of the let day of November, A.D. 1955• Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon it passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 14th day of November, A.D. 1955. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived, - 1 - 'Ndj and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
