76ORDINANCE NO. 76 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A CITY ATTORN3Y FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLDSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH A COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE. ko®PTE HE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1: That John E. Chisholm be, and he is hereby designated and appointed City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and devised by the Charter and ordinances of said city and the Laws of the State of Florida; to serve as such at the will of the City Council of said city; that the said John E. Chisholm shall be paid the am of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per year as a retainer, and an additional am of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per meeting, the above -mentioned sws being paid for performing the regular and routine duties as City Attorney; additional compensation to be set for all other extra -ordinary and additional services, said appointment being effective as of the 1st day of November, A. D. 1954. Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and•the same are, hereby repealed. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the Sth day of November, A. D. 1954. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 8th day of November, A.
