ALL PROPERTY IN TEE CITY OF EDGEIJATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, FOR THE YEAR A. D. 1954, THE ASESSOR O ®���®

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY TF—V PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDC,7WATER, VOLUSIA COT_7Y,
SECTION 1: All real and personal property in the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, shall be taxed in accordance with the laws of the State
of Florida and the Ordinances of said city, and the millage for the purpose of
taxation to raise the required revenue for the necessary and ordinary expenses
and the special and extra ordinary expenses contemplated by the City Council of
the City of Edgewater is hereby set at twelve (12) mills upon the dollar, and it
is therefore determined and hereby declared that a tnx of twelve (12) mills upon
the dollar be levied and the same is hereby imposed upon all taxable real and
personal property lying and being in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County,
Florida in the year A. D. 1954.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to note
the said levy and millage on the assessment land of said city and to notify the
tax Assessor of Volusia County of the said millage.
SECT T_ON 3: All of the above taxes to be due and payable as provided
by state law.
SECTION 4: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealled.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Counc T.1
of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of
September, 1954.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement of reading said
Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance was ordered put
upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at
a regular meeting of said Council held on the 13th day of September, A. D.
1954 and approved as provided ly law, the vote of said Council on Droll call
as followst
