BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Vera McLane be, and she is hereby designated and appointed
librarian for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and
authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined
by the Charter and ordinances of said City, to serve as such at the will of the
City Council of said City; that the said Vera McLane shall be paid the sum of
Twenty Dollars (1.20.00) per month for her services, said appointment being effective
as of the 16th day of March, A. D. 1954•
Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting held on the 12th
day of April, A. D. 1954.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading
said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the ordinance was ordered put
upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 12th day of April, A. D. 1954,
and approved as provided by Law, the vote of said Council being as follows:
