51ORDINANCE NO. 51
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A CITY CLERK FOR
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND SETTING THE COMPENSATION
FOR SUCH SERVICES. ADOPTED
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TIE CITY OF EDGGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Frank F. Dippery be, and she is, hereby designated and
appointed City Clerk for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with
full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as
fixed and defined by the Charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of
the State of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of said
City; that the said Frank F. Dippery shall be paid the sum of One Hundred
Seventy-five Dollars ($175.00) per month for her services, said appointment
being effective as of the let day of November, A. D. 1953.
Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 9th
day of November, A. D. 1953.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the require-
ment of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 9th day of November,
A. D. 1953 and approved as provided by Law, the vote ofsaidCouncil on roll
call being as follows:
