35ORDINANCE NO. 3_
AN ORDINANCE FILLING AN EXISTING VACANCY ON THE
BOARD OF EXAMINERS OF PLUMBy RS AND PLUMBING
CONTRACTORS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, A. Kennedy is no longer a resident of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida, and unable to perform the necessary functions as a member of
the Board of Examiners of plumbers and plumbing contractors.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED:
SECTION 1. That Oscar N. Jolly be, and he is hereby designated and
appointed a member of the Board of Examiners of plumbers and plumbing contractors
for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, to fill the now -existing
vacancy of A. Kennedy, with full power and authority to do and perform all the
duties of said Board as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said
City and the Laws of the State of Florida, to serve the unexpired term previously
held by the said A. Kennedy, and may be removed for cause by the appointing
authority upon written charges and after public hearing; that the said Oscar
N. Jolly is to receive no compensation for his services, said appointment being
effective as of the 8th day of April, A. D. 1953.
STATION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 22nd
day of April, A. D. 1953,
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement of reading
said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and. the ordinance was ordered
put upon final passage.

Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 22nd day of April,
A. D. 1953 and approved as provided by Law, the vote of said council on roll
call being as follows-
