28ORDINANCE NO. 28
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8, SECTION
7 (b) (3) AND RF-CLASSIFYING CERTAIN AREAS FOR-
MERLY ZONED FOR A-1 RESIDENCE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDMIATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 7 (b) (3) of Ordinance No. 8 of the City
of Fdgewater, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
Section 7 (b) (3). Private garage or other accessory
building customarily incident to any use permitted in this
section and garage apartments or other rental units with a
minimum area of four hundred (400) square feet.
SECTION 2. Residence A-1 District from Turgett Street to the South
city limits is hereby re-classified and re -zoned from Residence District Arl
to Residence District A-2. The present buildings used and occupied for busi-
ness purposes may hereafter be expanded for the same purpose with the approval
of the City Council.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
SECTION . This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the
27th day of August, A. D. 1952.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the requirement of
reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the Ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage.
