27AORDINANCE Y %' a AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE .h�k� CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. SECTION is That Francis H. Norman be, and he is, hereby designated and appointed Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all of the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of said City; that the said Francis H1 Norman shall be paid the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($275.00) per month for his services, said appointment being effective as of the / d f L day of Yl o J e w be 2 , A. D. 1952. SECTION 2s That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 26th day of November, A. D. 1952. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the require- ment of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 26th day of November, A.
