AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF FLORIDA�
STATUTES 1951 SECTION 322.01 TO 322.42 INCLUSIVE \ �-
AS THEY MAY PERTAIN TO THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING THE PENALTIES THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Adoption of State Law.
All the provisions and requirements of Florida Statutes 1951
Section 322.01 to 322.42 inclusive in regard to drivers' licenses, in-
sofar as such provisions are applicable to the operation and driving of
a vehicle within the corporate limits of the City of Edgewater, except
those which by their very nature could have no application to a city,
are hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. Penalties.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished
by a fine
of not more than five
hundred Dollars
($500.0b or by im-
prisonment
for not more than six
Months- (
6) or by both such
fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Judge of the Municipal
Court.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the
9th day of July, A. D. 1952.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the require-
ment of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived, and the ordi-
nance was ordered put upon final passage.

July, A. D. 1952 and approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council
