1960-6A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY CF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO VACATE THAT PART OF KUMQUAT DRIVE BETWEEN 16TH AND 17TH STREETS IN FLORIDA SHORES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE SERVING OF NOTICE UPON THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS, AND THE TIME AND PJACE AT WHICH OBJECTIONS CAN BE HEARD BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, hereby declares its intention to v acate that part of Kumquat Drive lying between 16th and 17th Streets, in Florida Shores. SECTION 2. That notice of this resolution shall be served upon all persons whose property abuts on that portion of Kumquat Drive lying between 16th and 17th Streets in Florida Shores, by serving a true copy of said resolution upon said persons and by publication of this resolution for one publication in the New Smyrna Beach News, said newspaper being a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Edgewater, Florida as to all persons who cannot be personally served. SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, will hear objections to the vacating of that part of Kumquat Drive lying between 16th and 17th Streets in Florida Shores at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the City Hall, Edgewater, Florida, on May 16, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. SECTION 11. That in the event the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, passes an ordinance vacating that part of Kumquat Drive, lying between 16th and 17th Streets, Florida,Shores, that portion of Kumquat Drive aforesaid shall revert to the abut- tiM property owners as provided by operation of law. SECTION 5. That this resolution is enacted pursuant to the provisions of Sectio n 112, Chapter 27432, Laws of Florida, 1951.
