1962-10A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A PATROLMAN ON TEE POLICE FORCE OF THE CITY. OF EDGEWATER,.VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That ROBERT McCARTHY be and he is hereby designated as a Patrolman and Policeman on the Police Force of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties as a Patrolman and Policeman as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of Florida; to serve as such Policeman and Patrolman at the will of the City Council of the said city. That the said ROBERT McCARTHY shall be paid the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-six ($276.00) Dollars per month. Said permanent appointment being effective as of the 3rd day of January, A.D., 1962. SEOTION 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon Its passage and approved by the Mayor. SECTION 3. That this resolution is enacted pursuant to the pro- visions of Section 39 of the Charter of the City of Edgewater, Florida, being an act designated as Chapter 27532, Laws of the State of Florida, as amended. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Siller who moved its adoption; said Motion being seconded by Councilman Kennedy and upon Roll Call vote, the said resolution was duly declared, adopted at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 1962, the vote of said Council on said Roll Call being as follows: y ounc iman 1-511 a.
