A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NOMINEES FOR THE
OFFICE OF CITY COUNCILMAN OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO BE ELECTED AT THE
SPECIAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER
4th, 1952 AND PROVIDING FOR THE PREPARATION
AND PRINTfNG OF BALLOTS FOR SAID ELECTION.
WHEREAS, Petitions have been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Edgewater, Florida, to have the names of A. Hussey
George P. Johnson and Albert L. Evans placed on
the ballot at the Special City Election to be held on November 4th,
A.D. 1952, for the office of a member of the City Council of the
City of Edgewater, Florida.
AND WHEREAS, The said Petitions are in proper order and are signed
by the requisite nutber of qualified electors in said City; now
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the names of A. Hussey, George P. Johnson and
Albert L. Evans , shall be placed on official ballot as
nominee for the office of City Councilman of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, for the term of one year, and the said A. Hussey
George P. JOhneon and Albert Evans are hereby declared to be
duly nominated for said office, to be filled at the Special City
Election to be held on said 4th day of November A.D. 1952.
SECTION 2. The printing of necessary ballots will be in accordance
with the advise of Mr. Thursby. There shall be printed fifty
absentee ballots.
This Resolution was read in full and passed by the unanimous vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a special
meeting held on the 15th day of October, A.D. 1952, the vote of the
Council being as follows:
