A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A. CLERK AND THREE
INSPECTORS OF ELECTION FOR THE SPECIAL CITY
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIJA, ON TUESDAY THE 4th DAY OF NOVEMBER,
1952.
WHEREAS, It is the duty of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, to appoint four persons from
the qualified electors of the said City, three of whom shall act
as inspectors and one of whom shall act as Clerk, for the Special
City Election to be held on the 4th day of November, 1952, as the
same has been heretofore called by said City Council:
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Mrs. Ethel Lear , Mrs. Ruth Driskel
and Mrs. Esther Sherman each of whom are duly qualified
electors of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, be and
they are hereby severally appointed to act as Inspectors of the above
mentioned Special Election to be held in said City on the 4th day of
November, 1952.
SECTION 2. That Mrs. Lydia LaBonde , a duly qualified elector
of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, is hereby appointed
to act as Clerk of the above mentioned Election, to be held as above
stated.
SECTION 9. That the above appointed inspectors, and clerk shall con-
duct the said election in conformity with the Law of the State of Florida,
and the Ordinances of the City of Edgewater pertaining thereto.
It was moved by Councilman Gibbs and seconded by
Councilman Haughton _, that the above and foregoing Re-
solution be adopted by the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, and be spread upon and made a part of the minutes of this
Meeting, held the 22nd day of October, A.D. 1952. The Motion carried,
the result of the Council being as follows:-
