Declaring Results - Special Election - 11-05-1952A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, ON THE 4th DAY OF NOVEMBER, A.D. 1952,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE
OF ELECTION TO THE CITY OFFICERS CHOSEN AT SAID
ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTIONI. That from the canvass of the Returns, it is hereby de-
clared that the result of the Special Election held in the City of
Edgewater, Florida, on November 4, 1952, is as follows:
FOR ONE CITY COUNCILMAN TO SERVE FOR THE TERN OF ONE YEAR I
received ko votes,
received 228 votes,
George P. Johnson received 182 votes,
received votes
SECTION 2. That the City Council of said City does hereby declare
that A _jjU&Lay received the highest number of votes
cast for the office of City Councilman for the term of one year,
and is hereby declared the regularly elected City Councilman of
said City to serve for the term of one year, or until his successor
shall be duly elected and qualified.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby
directed to furnish one certificate of election to A. Hussey ,
within one day from the date of the passage of this Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilman
, which Motion was duly seconded by Council-
man Shaeffer , and upon a Roll Call vote being taken
the same was declared adopted this 5th day of November, A.D. 1952,
the vote of said Council on said Roll Call being as follows:
