A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
REGULAR ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGE -
WATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA ON THE 3rd DAY
OF NOVEMBER, A. D. 1955 AND PRbVIDING FOR THE
ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE CITY
OFFICERS CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from the canvass of the returns, it is hereby de-
clared that the result of the Regular Election held in the City of
Edgewater, Florida, on November 8th, 1955 is as follows: -

Section 3. That the City Council of said City does hereby declare
that George 0. Sedgwick received the highest number of votes cast
for the office of Mayor for a -term of two years, and David L. Washburn
District #1, Raymond T. FriedleyDistrict #2 Herman John District
#3 Bernard Farrell District #y received the highest number of
votes cast for the offipe of City Councilmen for a term of two years,
and is hereby declared the regularly elected Mayor and Councilmen of
said, City to serve for a term of two years, or until his successor
shall be duly elected and qualified.
Section 4. That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby
directed to furnish one certificate of election to George 0. Sedgwick
Mayor, and one certificate each to David L. Washburn ,Raymond T.Friedl};y
Herman John , Bernard Farrell , Councilmen as of this date
after the passage of this Resolution. Y
Referendum on Shall the City of Edgewater install and maintain
a Water System 376 for 178 against.
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilman
Loveland , which motion was duly seconded by Councilman
Ranken , and upon a Roll Call vote being taken the
same was declared adopted this 9th day of November, A.D. 1955, the
vote of said Council on Roll Call being as follows: -
