A.D. 1954, for the office of Co+mcilmnn in District #4 of the City
of Edgewater, Florida.
AND WHEREAS, The said Petitions are in proper order and are signed
by thexennisite number of gpal.ified electors in said City; now
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVF,D BY THE CITY CniTNCIT, OF THE CITY OF EDOEWATER, FLORIDA:
.SECTIONI. That the names of George P. Johnson and Howard Ranken,
shall be placed on official ballot as nominee for the office of City
Councilman in District #4 in the City of Edgewater, Florida for the
unexpired term of Councilman Freeman (or one year) and the said
George P. •Tnhnsnn and .Howard Ranken are hereby declared to be duly
nnminated for said office, to he filled at the Special City Election
to he held on said 2nd day of November, A.D. 1954.
SECTION 2. The printing of necessary ballots will be in accordance
with the advise of Mr. Thurshy. There shall he printed 2-
absentee hallots.
This Resolution was read in full and passed by the „nanimoos vote
of the Citv Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a Special
meeting held on the 13th day of October, A.D. 1954. The vote of
said Council on Roll call being as follows:- _
