SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGE -
WATER, FLORIDA, ON THE 14th DAY OF MAY, A.D.
1957, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE OFFICER
CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION.
RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That from the canvass of the Returns, it is hereby de-
clared that the result of the Special Election held in the City of
Edgewater, Florida, on the 14th day of May, A.D. 1957 is as follows: -
FOR ONE CITY COUNCILMAN IN DISTRICT TWO TO SERVE UNTIL NOVEHSER
6th, 1957.
Stanley A. Senn, Sr. Received 18 Votes
Crawford C. Shaeffer Received Y X Votes
Charles G. Teaaue Received K-! votes
SECTION 2: That the City Council of said City does hereby declare
that Ci(>a iz) Q.. :;A a., a , received the highest humber of
votes cast for the office of City Councilman in District Two, and
is hereby declared the regularly elected City Councilman of said
City to serve until the 6th date of November, A.D. 1957, or until
his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby
directed to furnish one certificate of election to Chaa )as C. lea, ,=
within one day from the date of the passage of this Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilmen
which motion was duly seconded by Council-
man ,Jc,Az U , and upon a Roll Call vote being taken
the same was declared adopted this 15th day of May, A.D. 1957. The
