Agreement - Florida East Coast Railway - Public Road Crossing - 01-14-1957RESOLUTION NO.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was
unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, a
municipal coporationof the State of Florida, as follows:
1. That the City of Edgewater, Florida, does hereby contract and
agree to enter Sneo an agreement with John W. Martin, as Trustee of the
property of Florida East Coast Railway Company, and not individually,
wherein and whereby said City of Edgewater, Florida, is given the right
and privilege to use for public road crossing purposes only that part
of the right of way and property of said Florida East Coast Railway Com-
pany in the City of Edgewater, Florida, described as follows:
A strip of land with uniform width of 35 feet north-
westerly and southeasterly extending northeasterly
and southwesterly across the right of way and track
of the Railway near Edgewater, Florida, with longitu-
dinal center line located 3045 feet southeasterly from
the Railway's Mlle Post No. 128 from Jacksonville,
Florida, said right of way of the Railway having a
tote.l width of 100 feet at this location, being 50
feet in width on each side of the center line of the
Railway's main track, also
A strip of land with uniform widthof 25 feet north-
westerly and southeasterly extending northeasterly ...
and southwesterly across the right of way and track
of the Railway near Edgewater, Florida, with longi-
tudinal center line located 4654 feet southeasterly
from the Railway's Mile Post No. 128 from Jacksonville,
Florida, said right of way of the Railway having a -
total width of 100 feet at this location, being 50
feet in width on each side of the center line of the
Railway's main track.
All as shown colored yellow upon print of the Railway's
plan Corr. file 127-27 dated March 21, 1955, attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
all as more fully described and under the further terms and conditions
each and every in copy of proposed agreement now on file with the City
Council of Edgewater, Florida, and by reference thereto made a part hereof.
2. That the Mayor, with the attestation of the City Clerk, be and
they hereby are directed to execute said agreement for an on behalf of
said City of Edgewater, Florida.
