A RESOLUTION DECLARING TIE INTENTION OF THE
CITY OF --DGEWATER., VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA
TO VACATE THAT PART OF FLAGISR AVENUE SOUTH
OF A LINE CONNECTING THE SOUTHERLY BOUNDARIES
OF LOTS 13 AND 30, =LATER ACRES, BEING A
SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
AS PER MAP IN MAP BOOK 11, PAGE 299, PUBLIC
RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE SERVICE OF NOTICE UPON ABUTTING
PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE TIME AND PLACE AT WHICH
OBJECTIONS CAN BE HEARD BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida, hereby declares its intention to vacate that part of Flagler
Avenue south of a line connecting the southerly boundaries of Lots 13 and 30,
Edgewater Acres, being a subdivision in the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per
map in Map Book 11, page 299, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida.
Section 2: Notice of this resolution shall be served upon all persons
whose property abuts that part of Flagler Avenue south of a line connecting the
southerly boundaries of Lots 13 and 30, Edgewater Acres, being a subdivision in
the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per map in Map Book 11, page 299, Public F.ee-
ords of Volusia County, Florida, by serving a true copy of this resolution upon
said persons, and by publication of this resolution for one publication in the
New Smyrna Beach News, said newspaper being a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Edgewater, Florida, as to all persons who cannot be personally served.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida will
hear objections to the vacating of that part of Flagler Avenue south of a line
connecting the southerly boundaries of Lots 13 and 30, Edgewater Acres, being a
subdivision in the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per map in Map Book 11, page
299, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida, at the regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the City Hall located in Edgewater,
Florida on June 14, 1954.

Section In the event the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida passes an ordinance vacating that part of Kegler Avenue south of a line
connecting the southerly boundaries of Lots 13 and 30, Edgewater Acres, being a
subdivision in the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per map in Nap Book 11, page
299, Public Records of volusia County, Florida, those portions of the aforesaid
street abandoned shall revert to the abutting property owners as provided by the
operation of Law.
Section This resolution is enacted pursuant to the provisions of
Section 112, Chapter 27532, Laws of Florida 1951.
BE IT F'CRTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby rescinded; that this resolution
take effect immediately upon approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman

, and upon roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared
adopted at the meeting of said Council held the loth day of May, A. D.
