1958-14RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION APPOINTING: AN ELECTION CLERIC, INSPECTORS AND A SPECIAL OFFICER FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD June loth, 1958. WIUMREAS, A Special Election shall be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on June loth, 1958 and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an election clerk, inspectors and a special officer be appointed, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: That Dora A. White be, and sheis hereby designated and appointed Election Clerk for the Special Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on June loth, 1958, with full nower and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said City and the Laws of the State of Florida. That Margie Alexander, Marjorie A. Gunther,Florence Porter , William Sciscoe and Clifton Mosher be, and they are hereby designated and appointed inspectors for the Special Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on June loth, 1958, with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said City and the Laws of the State of Florida. That Boss P. Garrett be, and he is hereby designated and appointed Special Officer of the Special Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on June loth, 1958 with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the Charter and Ordinances of said City and the Laws of the State of Florida. HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict be, and the same are hereby rescinded. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Broea who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Henry and upon roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared adopted at the 1958414 regular meeting of said Council held on the 2nd day of June A.
