RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE FEC RY. CCMPANY FOR
CROSSING THE RAILROAD WITH WATER MAINS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the said City of Edgewater, Florida, consents to and
agrees to enter into an agreement with J. Turner Butler and
William A. Hallowes, as Trustees of the property of Florida
East Coast Railway Company, and not individually, wherein
and whereby said City of Edgewater, Florida, is given the
right and privilege to install an 8-inch cast iron water pipe
and a 6-inch cast iron water pipe across and under the right
of way and tracks of the Railway in the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, at the location more particularly
described in agreement attached hereto and as per Railwayls
Plan Corr. File 127.29 dated May 8, 1958, all according to the
further terms and conditions of said proposed agreement
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Mayor, with the attestation of the City Clerk, be and
they each are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Edgewater, a
municipal corporation of the State of Florida.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.
The above Resolution was introduced by Councilman Shaeffer who moved
its adoption, seconded by Counci.lmvn Broaa and passed by the vote
of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting
on the 2nd day of June, 1958, the vote of said Council on roll call being
