RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO CLOSE AND ABANDON THE
CROSSING LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE
FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY COMPANY'S MILE POST .
NUMBER 128 PLUS 4654 FEET AND 20th STREET IN
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND CANCELLING ANY
AND ALL AGREEMENTS. PREVIOUSLY ENTERED INTO BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER AND THE SAID RAILROAD �¢•'�
PERTAINING TO THE 20th STREET CROSSING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Edgewater shall close and abandon that
certain railroad crossing in the City of Edgewater commonly known as
the 20th Street crossing.
Section 2. That any and all agreements previously entered into
between the City of Edgewater and the Florida East Coast Railway
Company pertaining to the railroad crossing commonly known as the
20th Street crossing, shall upon the closing of the said 20th Street
crossing be and the same are hereby cancelled, rescinded, terminated,
and nullified.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its passage.
The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman
Walls who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Lodico Upon roll call vote said
resolution was duly declared adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on February 20, 1967, the vote of said Council
upon said roll call being as follows:
