169RESOLUTION NO. 169 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED WATER DISTRIBUTION SERVICE ORDINANCE AND SETTING FORTH A PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE FIXING AND CLARIFYING WATER DISTRIBUTION �0l4 SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES AND PROVIDING FOR �44��"",, A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED WATER DISTRIBUTION SERVICE ORDINANCE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The city does hereby propose to adopt an ordinance concerning water distribution service and rates, fees and charges therefor, and does set forth herein a preliminary schedule of proposed rates, fees and charges: (A) Residential. Single family residence $2.50 per month for first 3000 gallons or portion thereof plus 35C per 1000 gallons in excess of 3000 gallons per month. (B) Commercial and Industrial. $2.50 per month for the first 3000 gallons or portion thereof plus 354 per 1000 gallons in excess of 3000 gallons per month. (C) Multiple Service. $2.50 per month for the first 3000 gallons or portion thereof plus 454: per 1000 gallons in excess of 3000 gallons per month. (D) Churches, Hospitals, Schools and Public Buildings. $2.50 per month for the first 3000 gallons or portion thereof plus 354! per 1000 gallons in excess of 3000 gallons per month. (E) Deposits: Ranging from $20 for 3/4 inch meter to $200 for 6 inch meter. (F) Connection Charges. Charges ranging from $65 for 3/4 inch meter to actual material and labor costs for meter of 3 inches or over. Section 2. That a public hearing shall be held in conjunction with the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council to be held March 20, on Apx11x2x 1967 to give owners, tenants or occupants of property served or to be served by the said water distribution service and all others interested, an opportunity to be heard concerning proposed rates, fees and charges and other related matter. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolution in conflict q C _. herewith be and the same are hereby repealed and rescinded. Section 4. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
