170RESOLUTION NO. 170 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED SEWER ORDINANCE AND SETTING FORTH A PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE FIXING AND CLARIFYING SEWAGE SERVICE 44 RATES AND CHARGES AND PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ®' ON THE PROPOSED SEWER SERVICE ORDINANCE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The city does hereby propose to adopt an ordinance concerning sewage service and rates, fees and charges therefor, and does set forth herein a preliminary schedule of proposed rates, fees and charges: (A) Residential. Single family $3.50 per month. (B) Multiple Family. $3.50 per month for first family dwelling unit. $2.50 for each additional family dwelling unit. (C) Hotel and Motel. First hotel or motel unit $3.50 per month whether occupied or unoccupied. Each additional hotel or motel unit $1.20 per month whether occupied or unoccupied. (D) Trailer Parks. First trailer park unit or space $3.50 per month, each additional trailer unit or space $1:20 per month. (E) Schools, 10C per month per day student and/or faculty member. (F) Commercial. 100% of water bill with minimum of $3.50 per month. (G) .Special Industrial. $1 per month per population equivalent (H) Hospital. $2 per bed per month. (I) New Connections. There shall be a charge of $75 for all new connections. Section 2. That a public hearing shall be held in conjunction with the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council on March 20, 1967 to give owners, tenants or occupants of property served or to be served by said sewer system and all others interested, an opportunity to be heard concerning proposed rates, fees and charges and other related matter. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed and rescinded. Iqa Section 4. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Bebbington who moved its adoption, said motion being Walls seconded by Councilman and upon roll call vote said resolution was duly declared adopted at a regular meeting,odithe said City Council held on the 6th day of March 1967, the vote of said Council upon said roll call being as follows: ouncilman City Clerk Approved this 6th day of March 1967. /J Mayor
