A RESOLUTION GRANTING ANY AND ALL COMMERCIAL
LAUNDRIES, AND/OR LAUNDERETTES AND/OR LAUNDROMATS
A VARIANCE FROM THE EXISTING SEWAGE ORDINANCE A
IT PERTAINS TO RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR SEWER

SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that to charge commercial®
laundries, launderettes and laundromats 100% of their respective
water bills for sewer service would be grossly unfair and inequitable,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does wish to correct the existing unfair
situation by exercising its right to enter into separate contracts
with large users of water as defined under Ordinance No. 539,
Section 3 (b) (5) and Ordinance No. 538, Section 3 (c) (7).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That retroactive from May 1, 1967 any and all
commercial laundries, launderettes and/or laundromats shall be
charged for sewage service 100% of the water bill with a maximum
of $10 per month.
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Malls
who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman
Bebbington
Upon roll call vote said resolution was duly declared adopted at
a regular meeting of said Council held on June 5, 1967, the vote
of said Council upon said roll call being as follows:
