202RESOLUTION NO. 202 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE REGULAR ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ON THE 7th DAY OF NOVEMBER, P.D. 1967 AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE CITY OFFICERSCHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That from the canvass of the returns, it is hereby declared that the result of the Regular Election held in the City of Edgewater, Florida, on November 7th, 1967 is as follows: MAYOR - TWO YEAR TERM William H. Cairnie Received 800 Votes COUNCILMAN - TWO YEAR TERM DISTRICT #1 Jacob Lodico Received 425 Votes Francis H. Norman Received 517 Votes DISTRICT #3 Dana T. Armstrong Received 395 Votes George M. Dimm Received 559 Votes COUNCILMAN - THREE YEAR TERM DISTRICT #2 David C. Ledbetter Received 478 Votes Jack J. Smith Received 399 Votes DISTRICT #4 Philip H. Bebbington Received 370 Votes Calvin R. Dietz Received 537 Votes SECTION 2. That the City Courcil of said City does hereby declare that William H. Cairnie received the highest number of votes cast for the office of Mayor for a term of two years, and pranri, N. Norman District 01, and George M. Dim District #3, received the highest number of votes cast for the office of City Councilmen for a term of two years, and are hereby declared the regularly elected Mayor and Councilmen of District # 1 and District 03 of said City to serve for a term of two years, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified; and that David C. Ledbetter District 02 and Calvin R. Dietz District #4, received the highest number of votes cast for the office of City Councilmen for a term of three years, and are hereby declared the regularly elected Councilmen of District #2 and District #4 of said City to serve for a term of three years, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified. The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilman Lodico who moved this resolution be adopted, which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Rehbington and upon roll call vote taken the same was declared adopted this 8th day of November, A.D. 1967.
