A RESOLUTION HIRING CLYDE HEATH
AS CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SETTING
HIS TENURE AND HIS COMPENSATION,
SETTING FORTH THE CONDITION OF
HIS CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.`
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Clyde Heath be and he is hereby hired and
employed as Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater, Florida,
he to serve as same at the will of the City Council. The said
Clyde Heath, as Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater,
Florida, be and he is hereby authorized to do and perform all
acts as set forth and prescribed by the laws of the State of
Florida and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Edgewater,
Florida.
SECTION 2. That the said Clyde Heath shall be paid as
compensation, as Chief of Police for the City of Edgewater,
Florida, the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars per month
effective May 1, 1968.
SECTION 3. That the condition of the continued employment
of the said Clyde Heath as Chief of Police is that he establish
residence in the City of Edgewater, Florida within sixty (60)
days subsequent to May 1, 1968.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall be effective as of
May 1, 1968.
SECTION 5. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 6. That this Resolution shall take effect immediate-
ly upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Council-
man Dietz who moved its adoption, said motion being
seconded by Councilman Dimm , and upon roll call vote,
said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a regular meeting of
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida held on May 6, 1968;
