A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF NIEBURGER EOP
CHEVROLET COMPANY OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA ;'a
FOR A POLICE CAR, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS, FOR THE '*
SUM OF $1,880.00
WHEREAS, pursuant to motion duly made, the City has issued invitaWns
to bid for an automobile to be used by the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, competitive bids were received by the said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council after studying the bids is desirous of accepting
the bid of Nieburger Chevrolet Company of New Smyrna Beach, Florida for a
police car, as per specifications, for the sum of One Thousand Eight Hundred
Eighty Eight ($1,880.00) Dollars.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Nieburger Chevrolet Company of
New Smyrna Beach, Florida for an automobile to be used by the Police
Department of the City of Edgewater, Florida,as per specifications, in
the amount of One Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Eight ($1,880.00) Dollars
be and the same is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. That all other bids be and the same is hereby
rejected.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediattly
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Norman who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman
Dietz , and, upon roll call vote the said Resolution was duly declared
adopted at a Special Meeting of the City Council held October 14, 1968, the vote
of said Council upon roll call being as follows: �,1.--
