263RESOLUTION NO. 263 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A MINIMUM STARTING SALARY FOR REGULAR FULL TIME POLICEMEN TO BE HIRED BY THE CITY OF EDGE - WATER, PROVIDING FOR AN AUTOMATIC RAISE IN PAY AFTER A PROBATIONARY 40 PERIOD, RAISING THE PAY OF ALL POLICEMEN CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE ®� THEREFOR. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the starting salary of all full time regular policemen hired by the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same is hereby set at Four Hundred ($400.00) per month. SECTION 2. That each regular full time policeman here- after hired by the City of Edgewater, Florida shall serve a probationary period of six (6) months at the end of which time the said policeman's salary shall automatically be raised to t he sum of Four Hundred Thirty -Five ($435.00) Dollars per month. SECTION 3. That the salaries of regular full time police- men currently in the employ of the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same is hereby raised to the sum of Four Hundred Thirty -Five ($435.00) Dollars per month, which shall be retroactive from November 1, 1968. SECTION 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by City Council and approval by the Mayor.
