A RESOLUTION HIRING WILLIAM KENNETH
BUCHER AS PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS
TENURE, PROVIDING FOR HIS COMPENSATION,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR
SAID EMPLOYMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATE
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That William K. Bucher be and is hereby
hired and employed by the City of Edgewater, Florida as
Patrolman, he is to serve as same at the will of the City
Council. The said William K. Bucher as Patrolman for the
City of Edgewater, Florida, be and he is authorized to do
and perform all acts as set forth and prescribed by the laws
of the State of Florida and the Charter and Ordinances and
Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the said William K. Bucher shall be
paid as Patrolman the sum of Four Hundred ($400.00) Dollars
per month commencing with the effective date of his employment,
which said rate of pay shall, at the expiration of six (6)
months, be raised to the sum of Four Hundred Thirty -Five
($435.00) Dollars per month, provided the said William K.
Bucher is still employed as Patrolman for the City of
Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 3. That the employment of the said William K.
Bucher as Patrolman for the City of Edgewater, Florida shall
commence on the 7th day of March A.D., 1969.
SECTION 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval
by the Mayor .
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by
Councilman Norman who moved its adoption, said motion
being seconded by Councilman Dimm , and upon roll
call vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida held on the 17th day of March A.D., 1969;
the vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
