A RESOLUTION ACCEPTIT]G THE BID OF NE,9
SMYRNA MOTORS OF NIEd SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA
FOR A NEW 1970 CAR AS PER SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE SUM OF $2,299.00
WHEREAS, pursuant to motion duly made, the City has issued
invitations to bid for an automobile to be used by the Police
department, and
WHEREAS, competitive bids were received by the said City
Council, and
WHEREAS, The City Council after studying the bids is desirous
of accepting the bid of Kew Smyrna Motors of New Smyrna Beach,
Florida for a new 1970 car, as per specifications, for the sum of
TWO THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND NIf ETY-NINE ($2,299.00) DOLLARS.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the bid of New Smyrna Motors of New Smyrna
Beach, Florida for an automobile to be used by the Police Depart-
ment of the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per specifications, in
the amount of Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety -Nine ($2,299.00)
Dollars be and the same is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. That all other bids be and the same are hereby
rejected.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval of the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Ledbetter who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Fugate . and, upon roll call vote the said
Resolution was duly declared adopted at a Special meeting of the
City Council, held on January 26, 1970, the vote of said Council
upon roll call being as follows;
