A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ➢ID OF MOTOROLA
COMMUNICATIONS & ELECTRONICS, INC. OF JACKSON-
VILLE, FLORIDA FOR THREE (3) TWO-WAY RADIOS
FOR THE CARS IH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR
$2,940.00
1=7HEREAS, pursuant to motion duly made, the City has issued
invitations to bid for three (3) radios to be used by the Police
Department, and
WHEREAS, competitive bids were received by the said City
Council, and
WHEREAS, The City Council after studying the bids is desirous
of accepting the bid of Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc.
of Jacksonville, Florida for three two-way radios, as per specifi-
cations, for the am of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY ($2,940.00),
DOLLARS.
NOW THEREORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Motorola Communications & Electronics,
Inc. of Jacksonville, Florida for three two-way radios to be used by
the Police Department of the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per speci-
fications, in the amount of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Forty ($2,940.00)
Rollars be and the same is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. That all other bids be and the same are hereby
rejected.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Fugate who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Lodico , and upon roll call vote the said
Resolution was duly declared adopted at a Special Meeting of the City
Council, held on January 26, 1970, the vote of said Council upon roll
call being as follows:
