RESOLUTION NO. 347
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE
RESIGNATION OF COUNCILMAN
DAVID LEDBETTER AS COORDINATOR
OF THE PARK AND PIER AND vh
RECREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER; APPOINTING
MAYOR WILLIAM H. CAIRNIE AS
COORDINATOR OF THE PARK AND
PIER AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER AND
SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the resignation of Councilman David
Ledbetter as Coordinator of the Park and Pier and Recreation
Department of the City of Edgewater, Florida be and the same is
hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. That Mayor William H. Cairnie be and he
is hereby appointed as Coordinator of the Park and Pier and
Recreation Department for the City of Edgewater, Florida, to
serve in said capacity until November 17, 1970.
SECTION 3. That all powers and responsibilities of
William H. Cairnie as Coordinator of said Park and Pier and
Recreation Department shall be pursuant to the rights, powers
and duties contained in Section 32 of the City Charter, Chapter
27532, Section 16, Laws of Florida, Special Acts 1951; Provided
however, that the said William H. Cairnie as Coordinator shall
exercise his prescribed duties but his coordinating duties shall
at all times be subject to the approval or disapproval of the
City Council.
SECTION 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval
by the Mayor.

The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by
Councilman Fugate who moved its adoption, said motion
being seconded by Councilman Ledbetter and upon roll call
vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, held on the 9th day of September, A.D., 1970; the
vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
