A RESOLUTION HIRING AND EMPLOYING
PERCY KELLY BY THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS RATE OF
COMPENSATION AND PROVIDING FOR AN
INCREASE IN COMPENSATION WHEN SAID
EMPLOYEE HAS OBTAINED AND FURNISHED
TO THE CITY HIS LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE Ig
ISSUED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA AS A
SEWER PLANT OPERATOR, CLASS C, AND ,
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. f�
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Percy Kelly be and he is hereby hir€d
and employed effective September 28, 1970 by the City of
Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the rate of compensation for the said
Percy Kelly shall be Four Thousand Eight Hundred ($4,800.00)
Dollars per year until such time as he has obtained and pre-
sented to the city his sewer plant operator's license or
certificate, Class C, as designated by the Florida State
Board of Health, at which time the compensation of the said
Percy Kelly shall be increased to the sum of Six Thousand
($6,000.00) Dollars per year.
SECTION 3. That the continued employment of the said
Percy Kelly shall be at the will of the City Council..
SECTION 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by
Councilman Diets who moved its adoption, said motion
being seconded by Councilman Fugate , and, upon roll
call vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held on the 5th day of October A.D., 1970, the vote of
said Council upon roll call being as follows:
